Any ideas why my second core is @80% when idle?

Well my 4400X2 CPU is overclocked to 2.6Ghz @ 1.49V, temps hit 52*C at full load. All was going well untill i started noticing that the system was starting to get slow in RTW. Upon looking at the Task manager i can see that i've got 80% load or so on the second CPU core, but the processes list has 99% system idle.

Would i be right in thinking that my CPU is screwed due to my overzealous desire for speed?

What happens when you clock it back down to normal?

Ocasionally mine will be at 20% load for no apparent reason, then I just reboot and its usually fixed

Tried rebooting, got worse, i'll restore to defaults and see what happens

Heh, doesn't boot at all anymore.

Think it's fried.
