Any ideas to find this bowl?

My favorite piece of diningware was a bowl I got from a restaurant selling out their items. I like the size, the shape, the weight, the way the ridge on the bottom didn't get hot when you microwaved it.

Then I broke it.

The only identifier is the label "Room Essentials Stoneware". A bad photo is in the link below on Amazon, which doesn't have it. I tried ebay also.

Probably out of luck. Something might eventually hit ebay, but it looks like an imported contract item. Not particularly collectable, but someone might throw up an old house warming gift eventually. You'd be better off finding something different from a major manufacturer.

target.com/s/room+essentials+dinnerware?Nao=0

The brand is sold at Target.

They are 6 years old. Doubt they are still in production.

Bah. I want this bowl. It doesn't look like much, but surprisingly it's hard to find one with this shape etc.
Well, don't give up. If you keep checking ebay from time to time you'll find it eventually almost for sure.

Now, I have a microwavable bowl that's very practical. It's nothing to brag about or serve to a dinner party in, but as a day to day useful bowl to heat and eat leftovers it's a winner. It's a Rubbermaid Servin' Saver 1.4Qt 1.4L clear plastic container. Has a yellow/whitish lid you can put on it for storage in the refrigerator. I just ate some pasta and Italian sauce in it a couple hours ago. It's virtually unbreakable! 😉

Thanks for the suggestion, but that does sound very different from the bowl I like.

*snip*

Have you thrown away the broken bowl?
If not you could try repairing it like kintsugi, there are food safe epoxy options.

Here's a link to a replacement website:

The bowls all seem to be out of stock, but maybe they can help?

This did lead me to find other color options, are these the same as what you're looking for?

While these don't look like the same style, they are the same brand and might be the same stoneware:

Thanks for looking guys. I had found that replacement website and noted they did not have it; you're right the others aren't quite the same shape/model. Google images found some matches that all went to links that weren't the item in the picture. So I'd think 'great that's it!' then 'not it'.

I think I found something close enough. The shape is pretty hard to find. And some bowls - man, one was perhaps the worst color for the bowl, "teal", and they made it worse with about 1/2 inch white polka dots. What the hell. Get sick looking at the bowl each time you eat. Think I'll get these. Added benefit, they're new. Not sure how they'd compare but they might be even better in ways, e.g., size.

I'd say two things:

Try to be certain you're going to like them in terms of the size... i.e. no surprise on the size, just what you anticipate.

Be sure they are microwavable, don't absorb radiation and heat up except by conduction from the contents.

Thanks. I had measured, and hopefully there's even an improvement; I remember feeling the bowl could be just a little bigger. These seem to be slightly wider and the same height. All their products appear to be microwaveable.
