don't spend more than you can afford

don't live a different lifestyle than the one you can afford

just stick to it... really... you could always try misc small part-time like jobs (i.e. building computers, lawn care, etc..)

Lawn care is pretty decent. Down here you can make 60-80 bucks a month on each house....at least in my neighborhood, which isn't too shabby if you can get a whole street of houses. And that's not including landscaping...You could also paint, but that's kind of a bitch. Do little crap like that...can't think of much else.

There's also...ummm...buying stuff on auction and reselling it, all kinds of stuff. It kinda depends on your specific personal skills/trade. Like, if you knew how to install exhausts or intakes or something specialized for cars, or if you knew how to weld or something, that would be better to make money than a regular layman.

Build systems and sell them locally. Make sure you provide a receipt with detailed warranty terms. I wouldn't warranty more then 30 days for parts and labor, since it's a pain to be someones "tech support for life". You could always offer tech support and future upgrades at additional cost.
