Any ideas on cheap place to buy video cards?

forsale trade forum. new visiontek geforce2s are $150. Radeon 64mb vivo retails are like $230.

Well, it's safer than fleabay... and most of the sellers there are reputable (been selling for months or even years).

In the last two months i've purchased a Radeon 64DDR VIVO, Radeon AIW, and Voodoo5 from the forum here.

Just don't be stupid when you do a deal... get a name and phone number, and if the other seller doesn't have a lot of evaluations, than give them a call. And never send cash. Being a newbie there, you'll most likely have to send the money first before anybody would ship you anything. But remember, the risk is as big for them having you rip them off as they ripping you off... probably bigger, since you're the new guy coming in and nobody knows what your reputation is, but all dealers of videocards over there have been doing this for awhile (Hawk, Quino, Bummer, Untamo... they all regularly sell video cards).

yeah its pretty safe, just go with someone with alots of evaluations, I used to sell a lot there and well if you go with someone who sells a lot you'll be ok. Most of the small sellers are good too. Go with someone like, Untamo, Hawk, John, etc.

i vouch for untamo...just completed a deal from him, ask for heatware references or eboy references if u aren't confident about a particular seller.
