I have my computer on a dresser that I share with my room mate. Only thing is the dresser drawers get shut pretty hard often and I can see my monitor and stuff shake. I was thinking these vibrations can't be good for my computer (hard disks and stuff). So I have placed my PC on some thin bubble wrap stuff to maybe help filter out some vibrations, but I dont think its doing the best job.

Any thing I could use to put under my PC to help with the vibrations?

you need to both decrease the surface area between the computer/dresser and put a shock absorber in the areas where there must be contact. I'm thinking your computer has 4 small feet, so the surface area is minimized. Rubber, cloth, cardboard, air all serve as nice shock absorbers.

I think you going about solving the problem in the wroung way. I think that if you get a few ruber pads and put them where the dresser and draw it would reduce the shacking alot. Also I'm not joking about adding weight. Either in the dresser or on top of the PC will slow the rate and degree of vibrations.
