Well I'm really not decided on what my future will be. My interests range the gamut from math, physics, and cosmology, to comp sci and biology. I'll probably just work toward a general science degree. At 29 I'm getting a bit old to be constantly putting off getting a degree, not matter what it's in.

Go for Comp Science. Close enough to your interests (you won't get something to perfectly match), good employment prospects, and you can study programming on your own for internship bitch work. Anything else, you can study on your own as a hobby.

Maybe you don't really want to do Comp Science, but pick something, using the same general idea as above. Something that will closely match your interests and provide some practical benefit and hopefully allow you to be more happy.

If you go back to school, there are usually plenty of part time jobs on campus. Might be something as simple as watching a computer lab (aka get paid $12/hr to do your homework and occasionally refill the printer with paper).

Very good idea. Never thought of that.

Very good idea. Never thought of that.

I got paid 10/hr to drive a security truck across campus giving people rides at night. When I wasnt out I was locking up doors or patrolling the libraries.

Involved a lot of down time and I got to see a lot of the campus that students didnt see.
