Any idea why I can't delete a printer port?

I installed a printer port called USRPRTSHR (a port for the print server on a US Robotics router).

It is no longer working properly so I want to delete it and then try reinstalling it but each time I choose to delete port it disappears for a moment then when I "close" the dialog box then reoopen it, the USRPRTSHR port is back.

Does it need to be deleted elsewhere?

Try removing it in Safe Mode.

I just tried that and for some reason "Printer and Faxes" didn't show up for me in safe mode.

If its not causing any problems why not just leave it there?

In my first post I said that it is no longer working properly.

You may have to remove ALL drivers related to the router. Then delete the port, then reinstall the drivers.

I was told, when I had this problem, that the OS was corrupt.

I didn't reinstall to find out though.
