Any idea why a persons Yahoo Mail account keeps getting deactivated?

I can't find anything that this kindly elderly gentleman is doing to violate the TOS.

I set up his first Yahoo email account then it was deactivated....so I signed him up under a slightly different email ID and it was deactivated after just one day.

Here is the message I get when I "request new password":

"This Yahoo! Account Has Been Deactivated
Please remember that the Yahoo! Terms of Service provides that Yahoo! may terminate your Yahoo! account in certain situations, including (a) where a violation of the TOS or other incorporated agreements or guidelines has occured, (b) in response to a request by you (self-initiated account deletions), or (c) extended periods of inactivity. For full information, please review the entire Terms of Service. "

I can't get a real response from Yahoo customer service.

Any idea why this happens?

Thanks.

He logs in daily....does't spam or do anything that I can see would violate the TOS.

He's a very novice retired gentleman that isn't involved in anything underhanded....I am quite sure.

He just writes to family members and receives a weekly crossword puzzle and stuff like that.

Thanks.

That's weird, since they haven't responded to your inquiries I would suggest calling them at (408) 349-3300

Do you think Yahoo could be considering him a junk/bulk mailer because he forwards emails (all of good taste) to 5-8 people (all friends and relatives)?
