Well, if your sig is accurate (6600GT + 22" wfp), a single 8800 GTX or 2900 XT is plenty. There has never been any official word on a G80-based GX2, just leaked roadmaps and speculation from the usual suspects. They're all pretty consistent indicating its going to be another SLi on-one-card solution with 2 trimmed down GPUs smushed together onto one card. Think 8800 GTS in SLi vs. a single GTX. Given the current state of SLi, that means you might see 25-50% better performance at best, with slower performance or totally broken SLi performance in a lot of other games.
Oh and I didn't mention the 2900XTX because the EVGA step-up period is only 90 days.![]()

My sig is a little old.... I have a newly bought 8800gts atm, and its the EVGA. I know that I dont NEED a better card for just a 22", but I would just like to take advantage of my step up deal, which ends mid july.
Also- EVGA doesnt make ATI cards, am i right? bump
