We have set up a Netgear MR814 router with 2 notebooks with Netgear witless cards. Each one can access the interent alone, but if ONE is accessing, thee other says network not available, and vice versa. Both cannot access at the same time.

can you hook up one of them with a cable, and have it work OK?
Did you enable address filtering, or any other protocol?
It is possible, but extremely unlikely, that you have the misfortune of having two wireless adapters with the same MAC addy. there are a finite number of mac addys.

There are actually 3 total computers - one desktop hardwired and two notebooks. The desktop works and ONE notebook works at a time. If both try, first one to access wins 🙂

your router cant tell the difference between the 2 wireless cards. I guess you have to assign a IP for each?
