Any idea what type of vehicle would have caused this?

Car is a 1st gen Toyota matrix. The new damage is the whole right of the picture where the bumper sticks out. The white splotch in the middle and everything to the left is old damage.

I have a Nest camera rolling....only two suspicious cars that got close to the parked matrix was a UPS brown truck or some neighbor's Mercedes.

This was the bumper in June.

Honestly, looks like peeling paint for the most part.

I'm still working on the captchas.

The white directly under the plastic light fixture is the original quarter panel metal paint. And there was nothing there in June.

The June photo has been the condition of that area for at least 3 years.

After feeling the area right under the light, there is a pronounced dent. So, I do think a metal bumper did that.

The car did travel to a shopping center on Monday.

So, now I think some truck(no idea what type) backed into the corner but not loud enough for my mom to hear(there was rain and her hearing is not that good anymore; she talks so loud I put my Husqvarna forestry helmet on to deal with the volume) and simply drove off.
