Any idea what makes one eyeball go blurry?

Background: I wear glasses. Left eye is pretty good, right eye is somewhat bad. Great vision with glasses though. Right eye has been getting progressively more blurry over the past few weeks. Any idea what could be causing it? I'm even having a hard time focusing it to make thing somewhat clear. I'm going to schedule an appointment with an optometrist next week.

kudos on scheduling the appointment with ATOT first

 figured since many fellow ATers wear glasses, someone might have had this problem before...

Cut out the eye, it is infected. We will prevent further infection after removal of the eye with leeches, placed in the socket for an hour at a time every five hours.

It's not focusing right

If I take off my glasses, it's hard to focus, um, manually. Even when I do its still way blurry. The glasses auto-focus my eyeball, for lack of a better term. When focused, it's been getting more blurry. Non-focused is very blurry. It's not a tumor! :Q

That's really strange. Honestly, it doesn't sound good.

I don't take money. My preferred form of payment is goat's blood, if you prefer you may also send the earlobe of your first born child.

No, No No... this is BAD advice!!!

What you need to do is BURN your eye out with a red-hot poker, this will instantly cauterize the blood vessels in your eye-socket & minimize the bleeding!

For gods sake people, use some common sense!!! :|

Really? I was going to suggest poking it with an Xacto knife. I've seen it work wonders in the past.
