Any idea what kind of spider this is?

Mostly just curious, I've found a few of these inside now. My girlfriend saw the pic I took of this one and freaked out, so I've been instructed to identify it 🙂

Pic here

Oh, and for reference, it was a little bit smaller than a quarter from the tip of one leg to another 😛

Ah. They can get a lot bigger.

Terrifying; though Colorado seems to be a weird place for me to be finding one.

...not if you look at the range map.

despite the supposed benefits of having those around--outside--I'd probably kill the shit out of it.

Yeah I may need to reevaluate how I'm handling the assholes then...

I'm not a fan of spiders, but i always leave them be. Anything that eats bugs is a friend of mine(just keep you 8 creepy legs off of me!! :^P)

I have ant issues in my house. One spider will eat many ants, so I take that as a good trade off. Also, me and my daughter have fun catching the ants, and throwing them in the web... Good clean fun :^D

this is fail, I don't like any bugs really but I hate Spiders worse. I can't think of a single bug a Spider eats where I wouldn't rather that bug eat the Spider instead.

Round hear Spiders seem to love eating flies, flies are super annoying but had a zero percent creep my out level. Lizards seem to like eating spiders.

Lizards > Spiders in my eyes.

But what happens if I end up with too many lizards? What do I buy to eat them? 😛

mosquitoes are too small to see unless you really look, and while some people get chomped up by them I can't remember ever feeling one bitting me.

to kyzen - some cats will eat, or at least eat lizards. And you can get a dog to deal with the cat problem if it gets out of control. Anything that would eat a dog is going to be big and I would advise you stop the chain at dogs 🙂

I KID I love cats I'm not actually suggesting people buy a dog to get rid of the cat problem. But in the animal food chain that would be the next step up.
