Any idea what cuases me to have to UNDERclock?

I have an iwill kk-266r running an amd t-bird 1.33. I took it apart over the winter and it has never been the same. I have to change the multiplier down to 9.0 or 9.5 in order to run stable. I cant up the memory settings or it will crash also. I can play UT all day long but if I try to install a demo game it crashes after the opening credits. Same with Max Payne. I own Max Payne its not a warez version. What could be causing this? Thanks

You took it apart and it hasn't been the same... maybe you didn't put it back together correctly? Your CPU could be overheating if you didn't install the heatsink properly.
