Get the water boiling first. Toss the crab legs in. Only takes about 5 minutes or so, depending on how thick the crab legs are & how many you put in. Tips: when selecting the crab legs, the claw sections look tempting, but if possible, ignore them. Go for the ones that have the longest leg sections that are fattest. Also, if possible, avoid the ends where they chop them off the main body of the crab. (it all depends on the market where you get them though.) Around here, they run $6.98 or $7.98 per pound. Usually, 1 pound per person is plenty. MMMMmmm delicious!

DrPizza shops SuperWalmart (guessing based on the .98 prices) :)

Memories of college, but our SW had soft shell crabs for $3 a piece, frozen. Looking back, I wish I had purchased and eaten more of them.

Nope, I don't have a super walmart, and I avoid walmart whenever possible. Oddly, almost every store I go to has prices ending in .99 or .98 for anything over $5 or so. Where do you shop??

What kind of crab legs? If it's king crab legs, it should already be fully cooked. Just simply reheat and eat. You can boil, broil, or steam it. We usually boil. Little bit of lemon juice in the water to help with the smell.

If you have leftovers, try this crab, radicchio, and garlic pasta. Simply outstanding!

Crab legs are the best thing about the winter.
