So I bought this 15" HP workstation 2 and a half years ago, but it turns out I'm not using it much. I'm wondering if I could sell it and buy something lighter, but I have no idea how much it's worth these days.
It's got :
- i7 4800MQ with Quadro K2100M and 16GB of DDR3
- 128GB SSD and a 768GB 5400RPM HDD (as such it has no room for a CD tray)
It's in a good state, as I haven't used it much or ever dropped it as far as I remember. The battery lasts about 5 hours in power saving mode.
Perhaps you could help me estimate its current worth?
(Note: This is not a thread to sell this computer, as I haven't decided on it yet. Do not message me about that, please.)

Hi,
Welcome to AnandTech Forums. The rules for our For Sale/Trade forum prohibit price checks such as your post because, as you noted in your post, they can be, and have been, used as pretext to solicit auction style bids, which are likewise not allowed on our forums.
Meanwhile, you should be able to determine the value of your workstation by searching Google for the exact model number with key words like "price," "used," "value," etc. and by searching ebay and other auction sites.
If/when you decide to participate on our For Sale/Trade forum, all posts offering to buy, sell or trade items must be posted there. To deter "drive by" fraudulant traders and spammers, new members cannot participate on this forum until they have been a member for seven days and posted 25 messages elsewhere on our forums.
Thanks for understanding. Sorry for any inconvenience. We hope you enjoy yourself on our forums.
