Hi.
Are there any iBook G4 owners on AT?
I was wondering what your sound output on them is like, cos i just plugged in some headphones, and the interference on it is dreadful. Cos if it aint ment to be like that, then thats probably causing my Airport problems as well.

Hopefully it is. Sound wrong i know, but at least i`ll be 99% sure that its that source of interference causing the airport problems as well.
 

I hooked up an iBook G4 12" to my receiver to use as an MP3 player for a couple of days... No sound issues.
 
I am considering geting a Lower end iBook G4 or an uper end iBook so it looks like i will have to watch this thread closely 😉
 
Forgot.
Went to the shop i got it from on Monday.
The Airport Problem = Antenna not connected correctly (doh!)
Sound problem = Software based, awaiting confirmation of "CD Fix in post".

The Airports running amazingly now.
 
Interference sound on iBook:
I noticed that when the battery is charging it causes a lot of interference on the headset. Unplug the power adapter and gone is the noise.
 
I bet this is a comon issue with most laptop these days for one they are so small as it is and the more advanced each compent in them gets the more likly you are to come across interference issues.
