Any I7 CPU Coolers (AIR) with new bases sized for the I7 IHS?

I've read a few reviews of the Noctua, TRUE, and Magahalems, but haven't actually been able to confirm if the bases have actually been re-made to cover the entire I7 IHS.

Anyone know for sure yet?

They are of sufficient size to cover the die beneath the IHS. As long as adequate pressure is maintained, heat will be removed properly. This can be evidenced by using a precision IR thermometer and comparing deltas between the IHS edge and the HS base. They will be very low.

Does that mean not to actually expect a resize in the future? Meaning not to worry about holding off purchase for "newer" base designs? I've got a few months left before I can afford to move to I7 and was wondering.

The only benefit from a bigger block would be in an extreme design capable of holding more heatpipes for extreme capacity. Think 4.5GHz at 1.5V i7. :Q
