Thought it might be kind of fun to post up what people could use and/or want for their HT stuff for xmas. So, what's on your list for HT stuff (speakers/blu ray player/remotes/cables/etc) and any movies you're looking to score this year?

For me:
Blu-Rays: Star Trek (the new movie), Gladiator, Iron Man, and would LOVE to get BSG series in blu-ray

Other HT gear: new speakers are really about it for me. Have a Kuro 5080, Blu-ray player, Harmony remote, and HTPC so can't think of much else for HT use.

I just bought myself a new projector and subwoofer equalizer, so I'm pretty set on hardware.

I made an Amazon wish list though where I basically checked off all the movies I like (or assume I'll like) from the AVSforum blu-ray picture quality tier list as long as they were silver or above.

Right off the bat... BSG in BR. I have it on reg DVD but heck... just want the BR version -- best show ever. I actually already got The Plan on BR... and that was err.. to be forgotten.

I would love to start watching Dexter. I have heard so many good things about that show, so Dexter the 3 season on BR :)

I just ordered a home server (one of the prebuilt Acer 340), and it comes with 1TB or storage with room for 3 more drives.... hence I wish for 3 more drives. I have a slew of other older drives but would prefer to get 3 more 1TB and just get it over with.

I am tossing the idea of getting any of the 3 newer home video streaming devices like the WDTV Live, Seagate freeagent + or Asus one. I think I will ask my gf for the Seagate Freeagent. We already use an older WDHD device in the bedroom -- BUT, it does not do networking and wont read my ISO properly with menus so after over a year it really does suck... it's great for AVI and MKV but my whole movie collection is in ISO format. So the Seagate would be amazing!

I am totally out of space for my DVD/BR collection. Just one wall unit but it's overflowing. I really need to figure out something that will fit in well with the living room.

I got a great receiver, speaker and Sub... and LCD TV so all that is golden.

Bring it on!
