Any Honda Mechanics here?

Depends what state you are in ;)
I normally charge $100 per strut for labor
Average cost per strut....$50-$75

Now mind you that labor rates in my state (CT) are above average

Ouch!!!!!!!!! That hurts. Roger, how much labor is involved in each strut?

Remove in the following order
Rims
Brakes (Sometimes)
Upper strut bearing retainer
Lower ball joint
Drive shaft
Compress strut assembley in suitable compressor
R+R strut cartridge
Reassemble strut assembly
Install
Drive shaft
Brakes
Ball joint
Rims

Have front end aligned

A bit simpler for the rear :)

For an experianced technician it should not take longer than 1 to 1.5 hrs

(Other cars are much easier and take less time)

Is that 1 -1.5 hours per axle or per wheel? If I drive from Ga. to Ct. will you give me a forum member discount? :D

If you got the B...s to drive from Georgia to Ct,I'll do it for $25 per strut ;) LOL

That price is per strut

Mind you that CT is a very expensive place to live, other states are probably cheaper

i got my factory springs put back in after i had to raise my car for 140...compressing springs is a butt...some hate to do it, cause if it slips, it could kill you. 140 is just for labor and is very cheap compared to waht others told me. (2000 civic)
