I have several clients with Snap servers. They're ok, I guess. User management is kind of a pain.

we use snap servers , they are ok, but quite expensive for the amount of space you get

if you aren't doing an enterprise (large) deployment, just setup a normal file server, you can do it for half the price per GB of file space

unless you actually need the portablility, it is really easy to shut these snap servers down and put it in your laptop bag and take it with you, if you are not moving it around, it cost too much

I got my parents to buy a Tritton NAS 120gb works great. although I had to email them to get new firmware so the drives would show up as the whole 120GB and instead of 4GB.

Yep, builtin. Just doesn't integrate with Windows Authentication well. They are very old though, maybe they've improved the software. The clients who have them aren't concerned about it, so I haven't bothered to see if you can upgrade the firmware or anything.
