Any High School dropouts in here?

I dropped out my sophmore year. Football was my big reason to stay in school. That year I tore my ACL and ICL, so I was pretty much done. I dropped out to work full time. I worked my butt off, got promoted quickly, and earned good money not long after I dropped out. The problem is that I am now 25, and promoted as far as you can go without a degree.

If you dont like working your butt off only to be limited on what you can do, stay in school.

If you dont mind being someone else's bitch the rest of your life, drop out and have a nice day.


ps, I would go back to school, but I now have a son to worry about. Between the time I need to spend with him, the crap hours I work, and sleep, there is no time. I plan to go back in 11 years when he is out of school.
 
be insane to do so, i only got 1 semester left and then college, then god knows what, prolly will die in a car accident in 1 year, 4 months, 12 days and 4 hours

I got kicked out of high school for attendance, but I had all the requirements done to graduiate and already was accepted to Purdue. Essentially, I got kicked out and was told to come back in May to get my Diploma. When I came back, some people though I was dead cause none of the teachers (and none of my close friends) would tell what happened to me (there is another long story in here about exactly why they would not tell).
Anyways, I'm graduiating in May with a double major and a minor. High school sux cock. College is 100x better. The major difference : High Schools are run like a prison. Colleges are run like a business.

i know one HS dropout. he got lucky and happened to have a father that owns a business. so he can work there and makes a decent living. even though the guy is probably the dumbest guy on earth.

oh wait my wifes older sister dropped out with just one credit remaining. heck all she had to do was complete a 5 page report and she would have passed the class and graduated! but she didn't want to and is NOW paying the price.
