I don't understand, you're going in for training but you haven't really been hired yet? Or you were hired and you were too dumb to ask how much you're getting paid?

i talked to subway about starting a franchise and when i randomly mentioned that i would probably start my employees off at $7/hr they laughed at me. i wouldn't look for much above minimum wage to start.

ya. I guess they need employees pretty bad. I did put 3 or 4 other past restaurant work experiences on there, including best buy.

I started at $6/hr there when minimum wage was $5.15. I ended at $6.25 although I only worked there for 3 months.

I'm guessing it's more for following health and safety codes.
