Any haunted place in Northeast? (New England)

I'm a non believer of ghost and paranormal activities but I would absolutely LOVE to check out a haunted house/ground somewhere and experience something....

My group of friends are with me on this and would seriously consider checking them out if you provide me with any info!

I would follow-up on it here of course! 🙂

I was Googling around looking for haunted locations around KC as well. It's hard to get specifics on things like this. If anyone knows of any websites that have good "haunting" info about locations pipe in because I'd like to know.

I think Salem is supposed to be good for goofy, spooky, tourist trap kinda sh!t.

Salem is nothing but fun, cute tourist attraction now with selling witch action figures.

No, the ghosts all moved out of Massachusetts, the taxes are too high even for the non-corporeal.

I know a couple of good haunted spots in Connecticut though, although you'll have to hurry, Connecticut ghosts spend the winter in Florida.

How about in the Virginia, Maryland, or DC areas? Maybe West Virginia or North Carolina? BTW where is that Blair Witch place?

how about the closed mental hospital in northampton, MA? Not sure if its torn down yet. I think MTV's FEAR tried to film an episode there, and they were all arrested for trespassing. haha

here's ONE site Bhaa under construction...

Go to the sites root and wtf is with that pic on the front page? It's supposed to be a ghost fleeing? Come on! Anyone else notice how "ghost hunters" are the fvcking worst photographers/videographers in the world? How convenient that everything comes out blurry all the time.

Some guy that works at a car dealership around here was telling me about a spot over near the Lakewood, WA Pierce college campus where there is a burned down hospital, and a mental hospital further on the path that are supposedly haunted. Strangely, I've met a good deal of people who get loaded and go to haunted places just for kicks. I don't know if this is just a pacific NW fad, or if it is commonplace all around the country. Sounds kind of fun though.

Salem Mass is a tourist area. I think the "Masachuset's Witch trials" occured there. More of a history lesson than ghosts.

Scariest thing I ever saw was a photo my friend took. She was randomly taking pictures of her house for no real reason. One photo was a picture of the chair her family inherited when her grandfather passed away. The creepiest thing was the photo was just a chair. But the negative showed a ghostly image reading a book. It was hard to see unless it was pointed out. Then you could see the glasses. The book. A person. It was kinda freaky. It's makes me keep the idea that there are things we don't understand in the back of my head. She said her grandfather liked to read alot and that was his reading chair. I'll never forget that day.

Stratford,Ct

The old bone yard is haunted, it is where Goody Bassett was hanged in 1661(she was only a teenager) as a witch, the oak tree the she ended up swinging from is still there.

Goody Bassett

Dudley Town

I have visited both when I was a youngster, both a definite must see.

Do a google search on both, many links and stories to read.

If you end up visiting Stratford, look me up, I am only a few miles away in the next town over.
