For some odd reason I seem to be cursed with the packrat syndrome. For the longest time I have had strong desires to just collect crap, which is why its not suprising that I'm a hardcore comic collector. I think I'm up to about 30-35 different titles a month, fortunately I get a nice discount from the store I buy from.

Anyway do any of you guys out there collect comics?
Whats your favorite title?
Favorite artist?
Favorite writer?

Mine

100 Bullets (this book is freakin awesome)
Humberto Ramos (this guy owns in the art department if you get a chance check out his work in Crimson or Out There. He did some spidey issues not to long ago)
Brian Michael Bendis (he writes some really good stories (Powers, Alias))

I used to collect vintage comics (silver age, or golden age when I could afford it). I sold them all when I was strapped for cash, but will collect again when the finances allow it. I was hardcore in those. Not newer titles as much. I was collecting JLA, and have the entire run up to about 50, then I got bored with it. I'm more into the older Batman & Justice League.

That is a rare photo of Sean Connery signed by Roger Moore, it is worth one hundred and fifty dollars.

You may purchase this charming Hamburglar adventure. A child has already solved the jumble using crayons. The answer is 'fries'

Pretty much only DC comics for me.. all the Superman books, JLA, Batman: Gotham Knights, and Batman (Hush is so sweet)

I have the complete Origin set though and collecting the Truth series as it goes on.

I really want to get into Y - The Last Man but I am not in the mood to just start in the middle so I am going to wait until the trade paperbacks come out.

I am also going through the 6 part Dark Horse print of Akira. On the 5th book now.
