I ask because my wife babysits a girl and her dad hasnt paid my wife yet. He claims that the payroll system at Halliburton is messed up and nobody has been paid.

Is this true?

I think if I went more than a few days without getting my paycheck, I'd be looking at finding a competant company (or at least one with a competant payroll dept) to go work for.

Not sure if you were trying to be 100% serious on this comment - but I did see the wink icon. Not all employees of this company lie. Maybe, the top management could handle things differently, etc. However, the rank and file employees can't be any different than employees of any other company.

Citrix, Hopefully, that payment gets made to your wife soon.
