A high talker?

Oh, it's you. We were just talking about you. Listen, Jerry doesn't want to talk to you. Nobody wants to talk to you, so why don't you just drop dead?

Nope. I'm curious though, do you find it disadvantageous to have a high voice?

I have a low, booming voice, and sometimes it comes with disadvantages. If I am simply speaking in a relaxed, natural tone, some people will think that I'm in a bad mood, uninterested, or being mean. Basically, I have to put on a show and speak with extra cheer if I don't want to burn bridges. It actually gets quite tiring to my throat.

Jerks.

EDIT: Edited for more whining.

You can retrain your voice, if you don't like the way it sounds. It's not easy, but it can be done. If you have the means to record yourself, do it, and try different pitches until you find one that you like. Then practice, practice, practice. Like any new habit, it takes some work, but eventually, you won't have to think about it.
