aww.. .thats sad that he died. i got hit on once, and i talked to a buddy mind who is gay. my buddy put it in the proper perspective and said i should consider myself complimented.
A few times in life I've been questioned, but, signals were clear enough that it didn't get to a proposition. One time, in college, a guy tried to pick me up. I thought it was just some dude pretending to be friendly or sell me something (like credit card, pyramid scam stuff), then all of a sudden he asks if I want to go back to his dorm and hang out. NO THANKS! Then I went and ate lunch with two hot single chicks that were just friends. That didn't help. :| I got over it though.
This is the best topic on Anandtech lmao all these stories are so funny, especially the one about blockbuster and the fake viewing rooms lol. I've known about 4 gay guys in my lifetime (I'm only 17 too :Q), never truly been hit on but been indirectly asked if I was single. Kind of freaked me out seeing as how it's never happened before but I got over it quick. I remember one time this chick I really didn't like asked me out and my friends told her I was gay (wow... way to help out guys). A bunch of people thought I was gay for the rest of the school year. :|:|:| Sure doesn't help your social life when all the chicks think you're gay.
edit >>> The people that said guys hit on girls aggressively all the time are generalizing just as much as the people saying that all gay men are aggressive. I personally find people like that repulsive and need to get a life. Think about it though, if you go to a club how many "sweet, sensetive, charming" men are there gonna be? Hmm... I don't think any... just the ones that wanna get some action:disgust:
<< I was at a club with my girlfriend (7 years ago) and was walking by myself because she was using the restroom. A guy walking in the opposite direction jumped in front of me and ran his hands down my sides. I was shocked and just said "hey, who are you". He said "mmmmmmmmmmm yum yum". I just walked away and went by the restrooms to wait for my girlfriend.
I had an uncle that was gay died of AIDS, and he was a great guy, so I can't look at gay people in a bad way. >>
yes, couple of times, once at a bar
a guy says your a handsome dude,
i say yeah thanks,i shoulda been born rich instead of handsome LOL
he says uh,ok, do you uh like guys?
i say uh what do you mean???
he says you know in bed......
:frown: i say NO THANKS,I like women,
he went away ,thankfully
A couple of friends of mine went to New Orleans and found out once they arrived that it was "Southern Decadence" (Gay Pride). Two guys in the middle of gay pride week don't really send a heterosexual vibe and my friends were hit on numerous times.
Just once... the majority of the time, the gay men around me are friends of my female friends and thus already know I'm not "playing for the other team." hahaah... either that or they notice I'm staring at women's chests all the time, hahaah
i got hit on by a mechanic once while i was on a test drive to show him a problem with my car. i think he thought i was gay cause i was dressed up in my weezer-indie look. he was all asking me what i do for a living (computers) and then he starts telling me about going to porn sites and how he thinks his iMac (LOL) is soooo cute. he starts complimenting me on my shoes and stuff. i'm thinking, "eww." I mean if I was drunk, I'd be down for a 3 way with a guy and a girl i knew, but only barely, and this guy was pretty fat and dorky. i'd never be into just doing it with some guy. actually it didn't really hit me what he was doing until i was driving home again (i didn't have him work on my car). then i was like, whoa! i told my girlfriend about it, and she laughed her ass off.
I 'll kick their balls if they ever hit on me. Gay isn't a lifestyle, it is a disease with the mind which could be called mental disorder. They're in a illusion world which they perfer to be with men than women. There might be true to this though, women are high maintenance partners and could cause too much of a heartach for them so they switched to being gay. I have nothing against gay if they were to stay gay with their gay friends and not bother me.
