When you look at either the kit or just the body it says 1 to 2 weeks, but when you add it to your cart it says on order, meaning there is no date.

I heard that the sharpness on the lens that comes with the kit is a little soft (it's still by no means a bad lens) but you might wanna look into the subject before buying

True, but if you're spending 800 bucks on the body alone, why not just put in an extra couple hundred for a much better lens?

No, it's not a very good deal. A very good deal would be if they threw in a L series lens. They are throwing in a $100 lens for an extra $100. I don't see how this is a very good deal. :roll:

I did some checking. Yes, that's a $600 lens for an extra $300. Now that's a good deal!
