is this what is in this china announcement thing nvidia are teasing us with?

i'm really expecting them to cause a stir, esp if nvidia price them aggressively..

Expect the 670to be 400 bucks. They're not going to be priced low

Wow being almost a year late to the party = HUGE fail! I thought 660ti was supposed to be released May 10th? Looks like I'm just going to have to pick up a 7850 and call it a day.

yeah I thought 660ti was rumored as May 10th...if not, 7850 it is...will try to snag a MSI 7850 Power Edition if they ever, you know, come on sale in the U.S......

If the 670/660 Ti are based on the same GK104 chip - why would nVidia release, with lower margins, when they cannot even keep up with current demand in their flagship product with the highest margins?

Nvidia really dropped the ball on their mid-range release timing, I was holding out to see their lineup was but I've already gone ahead and ordered a 7850.

Because they can increase market share (and still make a buck) selling the exact same card with disabled GPU logic. They have all they need with 680's PCB and cooler in place. nVidia followed AMD's lower cost manufacturing strategy this time around. A close examination of 680's cooler vs. 470/480/570/580 shows they were thinking about a cooler for at least two lesser tier products IMO.

Edit: oh and I bet they have a few imperfect GK104 GPUs laying around. :)
