Any good WoW-esque games in the pipeline?

I remember hearing about Warhammer something a while ago, but not much lately. And if it matter's my playing style in WoW was solo 98% of the time.

try the witcher. Came out ~2 months ago. It's not an MMO, but as you said, 98% of your play time in wow is solo, so that might not matter. Good single player RPG, havent played one in forever.

It is sort of strange. I like the more vibrant world with other players coming and going. I like crafting and trading.

I really just don't like being forced to instance for end game items, as I don't have the time to wait around gettting a group together, and then gong through an instance over and over.

Having played many MMOs from Everquest to Vanguard, I have never understood this point. Groups are an important mechanic in adventuring, but just because a game world has other real people in it doesn't mean you have to associate with them in order to experience the increased dynamism over a world populated solely with bots.

In real life, do you feel the need to get 8 people together every day to accomplish some goal? :)

Not sure how WoWesque they will be but AoC, TCoS and WAR are games I'm looking forward to (currently in WAR beta).

whats TCoS? I know what the other acronyms are, but not that one.
