ANy good use of empty flopy IDE on mother baord

This is very stupid question. I have only one IDE drive on which I laready have CD-RW and DVD-RW. I have IDE port of Flopy drive empty. ( No flopy drive). I have SATA port to for my HD, but still trying to Squeez one P ATA drive. Can I use/convert Flopy port on my motherboard to connect PATA HD or othe DVD-RW or anything.

I believe tape drives used to connect using that port, but I'm sure you don't want an antient tape drive 😉
