Looks like the inPulse is now the watch for me. It is now fully programmable and not tied to any piece of hardware (like a phone).

Smart watches have never quite made it, yet. But, is there anything even close to a good way to see your Outlook calandar on a watch?
The Smart Watch did just that, but it is discontinued. The inPulse watch that is to be released soon seems like it is close, but that is for communication with BlackBerries only. The iPod nano watch would be perfect, if it had a calendar application that could sink with Outlook.
Are there any others?
