Any good sites comparing Macs?

Are there any good sites that compare the various lines of Mac computers so I know how they stack up against each other? I'll be buying one in a month or two and since have been thinking in PC terms for so many years I am sure I need to get my head around how to think Mac. For example: A gig is a gig is a gig of memory. But I *think* that a gig of memory goes alot farther on a Mac than a PC. So I am sure I don't have to go looking for a 3G Mac to get done what I need to get done

Anything?

What I need to get done:
VMware Fusion. Alot of PC emulation.
Alot of internet activity
Number crunching in excel
Light Gaming
Want a big monitor

Thanks,
Patrick

Yep can't really go wrong with a new iMac for your needs. Plus if need be you can always bootcamp into Windows and use it as a Windows machine.

why are you getting a mac? None of the tasks you listed are particularly mac centric and with a medium sized budget you are probably better off with a pc (unless their are some mac specific features you want/need). The mac pro's are very good workstations but out of your budget, the imac is probably your only option (if you want a mac) but it doesn't really leave much room for future upgrades.
