Any good resume writers out here? Anyone willing to help me with mine?

I'm in a pickle. And, of course, it all stems from the fact that I haven't been able to find a career job, or even a prospective career path since I was laid off almost two years ago. Now, I know I'm hirable, and I don't know whether I'm just not lookin in the right places or if it's my resume, or even my presentation... okay, hell, I don't even know if I'm hirable.

I know there's IT jobs out there, even in this tight market. At the very least, I should be generating some callbacks right? So the choke point I'm thinking is my resume, since that is the first (and most often last) thing the a prospective employer sees of me.

What I'm looking for is a little help, preferably professional (much preferred: free) help on writing a resume that will generate more than one callback every couple months. Anyone willing and/or able to help me here? And yes, I've taken and am taking workshops, and everyone seems to be contradicting everybody else regarding style, format and content.

If any of you are seriously willing to help me here, PM me and we'll start from there. I have a few different resumes of mine I can email just to get a good start here. So if there's any professional resume writers (with proven track records 😀) or persons in the positions of HR or hiring managers, please please please get in touch with me.

Others have posted their resumes for everyone to read, and then people just chip in with their advice...

Unlike the crappy relationship advice that is dealt out around here, the resume critiques seem to work out pretty well.

Done that already, and when I did, I can't quite gauge whether it had a positive impact or not.
