Any good repair for ipad2 shatter glass

Friend dropped his and apple wants 350 to fix/replace it. I have not seen it but is there a really good online repair ?

I only asked because I sent a 3gs away for repair, and it was a hack job. i forgot which store i used but it was 2 year ago and the glass glue they use blows, fell apart after 3 months. I end up doing it myself for cheaper.

I also noticed they swap the parts inside to cheap knock off stuff. I think they know that you probably wont take it apart after getting it back from repair so you wont know about the parts.

You could always do it yourself using iFixit.com.

yeah i kinda hate fixing these stuff.. so time consuming because of the small parts & etc.. i never done ipads before.. only 3gs & 4. I still have a 3gs thats been down for a year now... just need to get it out before iphone 5 comes out.. 🙂

They absolutely do. Both my MacBook Pro and my iPad came from the refurb store and were spotless when I got them.
