Right now I'm looking at the OCZ Modstream 450W power supply, but is there anything that costs less and is still decent? Because the OCZ is priced pretty high.

Seasonic's S12 series; Antec neopowers, truepowers or smartpower 2.0; Enermax Noisetaker series, PCPowerandCooling.

Edit: Sorry, I though you just wanted the names of some good PSUs.

Sparkles and Fortrons (FSP) are generally cheaper and high quality.

Any features that you are looking for in a power supply? Pure wattage? Looks? Modular cables? Silence?

@bcoupland : Thanks for the extensive list. I'm gonna cross-reference that with Newegg's supply. :)

@WobbleWobble : I think I'm gonna need a 24-pin ATX connector (DFI Lanparty UT NF4) as well as a PCI-Express connector (Radeon X850XT). I think I'll need at least 2 SATA cables (Seagate Barracuda 200GB). I'm not sure what else plugs into a PSU, so if someone could tell me, that would be great.

And one more thing...I would prefer if it weren't messy. That's why the OCZ got my vote initially. The wires are all sleeved and pretty. ;)

I have the modstream 450, it's great. great packaging, great support from OCZ, simple and easy to install with nice sleeved cables. only drawback is if you have a big case, the ATX connector is a bit on the shorter side. Modstream gets my vote, and the 520 can be had for $85 from monarch after rebate. I got my 450 a few weeks ago for $75 minus a $15 rebate, free shipping
