Any good programs to cut mpeg-1 or -2 files?

I made one about a gig and would like to split it on 2 cd's

I think that TMPGenc will do it. You might also check out VirtualDub and DVTool. I'm not exactly sure *how* to do it but I'm sure you could go to vcdhelp.com or doom9.org and look through to tutorials and probably find out how to do exactly what you want.

VirtualDub would not let me since it was an mpeg. I'm not that familiar with TmpGenc. I know how to use it to convert using different codecs but that is all. I haven't seen anything in it that allows you to break up film. I will poke around on doom9 and vcdhelp, thanks
