I'm looking for something like Eudora Sharing Protocol to setup a private peer to peer network with a small handfull of coworkers to share some documents (over the internet). We don't want to use the Eudora software since it manges the files via email and some documents are too large for the message size limits on our mailserver. All of the big peer to peer networks are designed to allow complete strangers to go digging thru your shared data, so those aren't an option. We are more looking for an internet based sync where one person can join, share their data and others who wish to subscribe to it can get it transfered and sync'd on their machines.

Ideally a Windows namespace would allows us to manage/access the data via explorer. Does anyone know of any software that remotely sounds like this? ;)

Thanks, I looked that over, but it doesn't appear I can setup a rule to just sync with another user automatically (did I miss that?). I also looked at SureSync but they want $600 per server, so thats kinda out ;)

Did you try CVS? Dunno if that will work for you.

It's UNIX stuff, so not easy to administer. But it's free. :)
