Any good non-trite/cliche persuasive speech topics?

Trying to figure out a good persuasive speech topic for another 6 minute speech... Of course, no convincing chicks in the class to score (oh yes, very popular) or anything else in that other topic that I made a few weeks ago (it's inevitable but oh well ).

Anywho, I was thinking of taser abuse, but taser abuse doesn't have enough grounds to support besides the UCLA case which gained massive popularity but is only one case.

If you can expand on tasers or have a nice persuasive speech topic that you have in your mind right now, I wouldn't mind

You should give a speech about repetitive/redundant topic titles.

I did a persuasive speech in my public speaking class once, trying to convince hippies to bathe. It went over very well.

You should make the case for gay marriage... mandatory gay marriage.

Do a persuasive speech on privatizing social security. Six minutes is plenty of time to throw out some facts and numbers that people can understand and see a benefit. Don't have to discuss the cons, especially in just six minutes.
