Starting to put together a new system for work, but i really dont need an SLI board...although browsing newegg, it seems those are the only ones getting reviews and purchases.

Needs to support Q6600, 4-8GB ram, sataII raid, 4+ drives, and have onboard firewire.

It seems that anything over $200 is overkill and gets into the SLI range. I wont be OC'ing this build.

Any suggestions?

There are actually a lot of good sub-$200, non-SLI boards out there for the Q6600. Just search newegg for P35, and find a board that suits your needs in your price range. The Abit and Gigabyte P35 boards have been getting good reviews for the sub-$200 range, while the good Asus boards tend to be over $200. I personally am really happy with my Abit IP35 Pro. It is the most expensive P35 Abit board, but still comes in at less than $200.

abit IP35 appears to do what you need (& would even overclock well) - I believe that it's about $110 after rebate.
Gigabyte P35-DS3P would be an alternative.
