Any good multifunction printers you can recommend? I'm looking at the HP D135 but it has...few...if any reviews. I can't really read any reviews unless I have some to focus on, so suggest away. Thanks.

i just got the HP PSC750 last weekend, seems to be a pretty good printer. Text is good, not laser quality, but still decent. The scanner is fast and produces good quality images. It is nice and quiet too. The only problem i see with it is it uses 25ml black cartriges which HP charges the same abount for as the 42ml ones.

If you need fax capability get the HP D135 for around $499 - $50 off (assuming Staples.com carries this) coupon = $449.

Personally I would get the HP PSC 950 for around $399 - $50 off Staples.com = $349

It has a built-in card reader slot so you can print digital camera pictures directly from media to printer without having to d/l them to a PC first, a nice feature.

Color quality is great for scanning, copying and printing. Nice design, doesn't appear to be as much of a desk hog as the D135 is.

It's also a $100 savings and it doesn't have fax which you didn't mention in your criteria.

yes but ross, the 950 does not have any sort of document feader... so if you wanted to do a 10 page fax you would have to scan in each page seperatly... to me that would be a pain... the 950 is great quality but the lack of the document feader kills it for me... the d135 also has seperate printheads which are nice... that or the cannon f50 which sould be only 399-coupon

I partially agree but gwlam12 didn't mention that he'd have a need for a document feeder.

I bought the lower end HP v40 which I have been very happy with and bought it because it has a document feeder which makes fax'ing several pages a lot easier than 1 by 1 on a flatbed ... however he didn't specify fax'ing nor document feeder as part of his needs.
