I posted a thread yestoday, didn't really get me anywhere so i'll try again. though Vapochill was a f****** great idea!

The controlroom, where the machine is, is really hot, so fans, no cover, and software based cooling solutions won't work... while the machine works ( 7-8 hours a day) the cpu loads (smp system) are constantly above 70% processing plugins on several audiostream at once- recordingstudio stuff....

i would like to hear about alternative cooling solutions... anything goes!

Thanks.

I havn't done a lot of research on water cooling, but last time I checked it just recirculates the water from inside the case. If you are really interested in alternate cooling, there are quite a few good hardware guide sites on the net. A quick search on Tom's Hardware gave me this: Water Cooling. I am actually considering water cooling for my next system, but havn't done any research as of yet. Take some time to do a search on water cooling and you should find A LOT of walk throughs.
