My mobos is the cusi-fx and I'm looking for a better graphics card which supports PCI to replace the SIS card that I'm using.

Any suggestions?

Thx!

P.S. It needs to be reasonably priced(as I'm still a student) and pls... gimme as much advice as possible! Thanks a lot... :p

PCI?? Voodoo5500. :D

That's the best you can get and I think it can be had for 80Usd or ermm.. I don't know how much is that in Sing dollars :D

Drivers support are obsolete though. Don't have an AGP. Hmm...tough..

Any video card you find in the mart now is better than the SIS. definitely. :D

Best PCI video board would have to be a Voodoo5 5500... although 3Dfx is gone and driver support is at a minimum, the drivers availble for it are as solid as you could want them to be. A PCI Voodoo5 would provide the fastest 3d/2d acceleration availble for those who lack the AGP slot.

2nd would have to be a PCI Radeon, ATI is still supporting the Radeons and a PCI Radeon board shouldn't be too hard to find at all.

3rd would be a GeForce2MX, there are very few MX boards found in PCI form, however they are out there. I rank the MX below a Radeon simply because the Radeon PCI boards are easier to get your hands on. Well, at least for me...
