Inspired by this thread, I want to get Dish Network so I can call and bother ThaGrandCow at work 😛

That one certainly comes to mind although it's obviously not specific to just satellite (but it has activity on an Anandtech forums scale so there's bound to be info in there.) I don't know if they have a specific forum setup for satellite only (although they have one for satellite radio) but that play is definitely going to have a lot of people who use satellite.
