Any good deals on ram?

I'm looking to upgrade my computer, and I have a pretty good idea about what I want except with ram. Thinking I will get the following:

Abit IP35-E
Intel E4500
ATI X1950pro

Looking for good ram that can moderately (would be happy with 3.0) overclock this processor, but keep cost low.

Does this ram have D9 chips and will it perform well with overclocking the E4500?

I got the same setup a couple of weeks ago for the kids. Running at 2970 MHz on the first try on stock Intel cooler at 54C.

Need to get back to it and see what it will really do with a better cooler and a little more effort.

I am running 2x1GB Crucial PC2-6400 (800) ram. Had some instability at the beginning only to discover the abit board wanted to run the ram at something like 1.6v.

Bumped that the 2.1v (rated for 2.2v) and rock stable since running Rosetta@Home 24x7 at 100% cpu.

From all my research they have micron D9 chips. Is this correct?

No, they don't have D9's. And even if the sticks in your first post have D9's, they aren't going to be D9-GMH's or D9-GKX's. BTW, the processor you're considering buying has an 11x multiplier. That means that the cheapest PC5300 on the market will run your E4500 @ 3.3 Ghz, even if the RAM itself won't overclock one single Mhz, and I've never heard of that happening. Do yourself a favor, and just buy the cheapest PC6400 you can find, in case your E4500 happens to be able to run @ 4.4 Ghz.

Yeah I'm thinking I'll just get some cheaper ram and go with 4gb (vista 64-bit) instead of 2gb.

Those are rebadged HP DDR2 667. Buy HP. Get $40 rebate per stick up to five sticks. Final cost is $22/GB. Rebate comes from HP. Got my $ in less than one month!
