Got a virtualization test project that's hitting a snag on a current worksation. It's a AMD Phenom II X6 1045T with 8GB RAM (It has two 1.8v 4GB Corsair XMS modules). I've ran into trouble with running 4 1.8v modules (had to overclock a few voltages to get another 1045T stable with 4 1.8v modules). So I'm thinking I might be stuck replacing it with 4 modules.
Either way I need 16GB of ram, either in 2x4 to add 8 more if you think it will work, or 4x4 to get to 16.
Mainboard is a MSI 890GXM-G65. System is not overclocked, so really no need for anything faster than 1600. 1.5V is preferable.
Hopin to order tonight, anyone got any deals/suggestions?
Also compatiblilty to use it in a future I7-2600 (or whatever is good bang for buck current of the time) in about 3-6 months.
