So I was in Barnes & Nobles today checking out the magazines as always when I noticed the title of a book that caught my eye. The book was called "Steal This Computer Book 2: What They Won't Tell You About The Internet". I leafed through it and saw some interesting stuff. Has anyone read this or heard anything about it? Or does someone know of another good internet security book?

What do you mean by security book? Like "How to secure you system?" or "How someone might break into your system?"

Hacking Exposed is pretty good, but the best way to understand security is to understand the people behind breaking it, get involved in white hat and black hat hacking groups, understand your OS in's and out's. and read every "hacker book" you can get your hands on. it really helps. in other words there is no ONE good computer security book but understanding the people behind it is your best bet. if you want some good reading to get you started I really reccomend True Confessions of Teenage Hackers, its short but captivating. GREAT book.
