Any good brands of flash drive???

I want to order them from newegg.com..........I have never owned one so what features should i be looking for?e.g read/write speeds,etc?
I hear crucial gizmo are the best but are there other good brand names. e.g Transcend,LINKSYS,ep, A-DATA,etc....

I'd look for the cheapest known-brand drive. I myself got a Memorex 256mb traveldrive (USB2.0) for 20$ from CompUSA. It's really small and slim. I thought it was great.
