Back in the early 2000's I tried to get as many certs as I could. Ended up with almost 20 certs ranging from A+ and Network+ to the MCSE, etc.
One of the things that helped me the most were 'brain dumps' where people just posted raw notes about different topics (not exam answers though, that's illegal i think). It helped me cut through the BS and just learn cold hard facts about the stuff I was interested in. Granted, it didn't help much with the hands-on aspect, which I still needed for some of the more difficult certs, but it was a great supplement.
I'm not pursuing any more certs, but I felt like I absorbed a ton of information by cramming brain dumps.
Are there any good sites that host brain dumps on various topics? I'm interested in a lot of different stuff. Everything from cars to computers to fitness, etc.
PS: I'm not talking about illegal, copyright infringing brain dumps of exams. I'm just talking about brain dumps of information in general about various topics.
